Resource description

Project Title: Development of solution and urine matrix CRMs for the detection of steroid doping

Researchers: L. Mackay, S. Westwood, L. Besley, R. Kazlauskas, G. Trout, R. Millar

Institution: Chemical Reference Methods Team, National Measurement Institute, Pymble, Australia

Year accepted: 2002

Summary: The aim of the project is to produce solution and urine matrix Certified Reference Materials (CRM5) certified for the presence of 19-norandrosterone, the main metabolite of the anabolic steroid nandrolone, at the level of 2 nanograms/ millilitre (ng/ml).
