WADA hosts fifth workshop as part of European Intelligence and Investigations project
In November 2023, the independent Intelligence and Investigations (I&I) Department of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has brought together representatives of law enforcement agencies, police and customs, and National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) from 13 European countries for the fifth of six workshops as part of a European Union-funded project aimed at building I&I capabilities across the continent. The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) also conducted a monitoring visit and was represented by Anne Spangemacher, project officer in the Sport sector of the Agency.

Congratulations once again for an excellent workshop in Warsaw
First of all, thank you for the organisation and developing the workshop, which was very interesting for me.
I just wanted to say that I thought this workshop was of great help. The mixture of lectures, networking and exercises was fantastic. Congratulations on putting this together.
It has been really a great opportunity for me to learn, socialize and know very interesting and professional people. I really appreciated the dialectic and teaching methodology of the speakers/instructors of the course. Very professional and engaging. They always captured the participants' attention during all 5 days. I felt part of a great project and I am glad to bring home all these information that, together with NADO and our law enforcement, we will try to develop.
It’s been a great pleasure to be part of the workshop organised by WADA. For us law enforcement officers it was a great opportunity to gain new experience and knowledge regarding antidoping Intelligence and Investigation techniques. We had a chance to meet people from all over Europe and we really had a good time with instructors who were excellent on their presentation. I am looking forward to future cooperation and hopefully we will meet again in Lausanne next year.
