WADA approves revisions to Technical Documents MRPL and DL
The revised Technical Documents on Minimum Required Performance Levels (TD MRPL) and on Decision Limits for the Confirmatory Quantification of Threshold Substances (TD DL) have been approved by WADA’s Executive Committee and will come into force on January 1, 2013.
As part of WADA's ongoing efforts to enhance worldwide anti-doping activities under the World Anti-Doping Code (Code), TD MRPL and TD DL undergo periodic revision to reflect recent scientific and technological advances in the performance of anti-doping tests and the reporting of test results.
The revision processes for both Technical Documents were conducted by the WADA Laboratory Committee in 2012, and carried out in consultation with WADA’s stakeholders.
TD MRPL and TD DL are mandatory complementary documents to the International Standard for Laboratories and provide specific technical recommendations to WADA-accredited laboratories.
