Effective January 2023, WADA’s NADO Expert Advisory Group (EAG) is comprised of ten elected representatives, with two from each of the five regions (Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania). Late in 2022, WADA organized regional elections for the NADOs to choose their ten representatives. These ten members are responsible for representing the views of the NADOs and bringing them forward to the WADA Foundation Board through their elected Chair and Vice-Chair sitting on the Board; and reviewing anti-doping matters impacting NADOs and providing relevant guidance and recommendations to WADA to enhance collaboration with and development of NADOs globally.

* Following the change of the Secretary General position of the Korea Anti-Doping Agency (KADA) on 20 November 2024, Mr Kim Kum-pyoung had provisionally stepped down from the WADA NADO Expert Advisory Group (EAG), pending confirmation that he fulfilled the eligibility criteria through a possible new role with KADA. WADA was recently informed that such confirmation would not be received, and therefore Mr Kim formally stepped down from the NADO EAG and his Chair position as of 16 January 2025. Per their Terms of Reference, the NADO EAG and WADA will determine the process to be followed in replacing this Asian region member, taking into account the length of term remaining, regional needs and any other relevant factors. In addition, given the Chair was unable to resume their duties, the Vice-Chair (Mr Michael Cepic) became the new NADO EAG Chair, and a new Vice-Chair will be elected in February 2025 for the remainder of the term (i.e. until 31 December 2025).
