Goals:

1. Compare Flow cytometry and different DNA-Analysis methods in subjects receiving homologous blood transfusion. This includes studies on the Clearance Time of the donor DNA, investigations on sensitivity and sample quality (i.e. storage time, hemolysis).

2. Study the clearance of RBC-MP to see if this marker is applicable to detect autologous blood transfusion.
