WADA seeks Proficiency Testing Sample Provider as part of its External Quality Assessment Scheme

The World-Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), as a proficiency testing provider, is seeking a tenderer to enter into a contractual agreement to serve as a Proficiency Testing Sample Provider, for the purpose of preparation, characterization, packaging and distribution of biological samples* to WADA anti-doping laboratories worldwide as part of the WADA External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS).

WADA encourages organizations that are interested in submitting a tender, to:

• Consult the linked document outlining the requirements of the WADA Proficiency Testing Program as well as the conditions for the tender submission and evaluation criteria; and
• Submit a tender, in English or French, by close of business (16:30 EST) on Friday, 15 January 2021.

The decision regarding the successful tenderer will be taken in May 2021 by the WADA Executive Committee.

* Mainly human urine samples but may have human blood on certain occasions during contract period.
