WADA removes gymnastics from compliance watchlist

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) announces that it has removed the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) from its “compliance watchlist”.
Last November, WADA’s Executive Committee approved a recommendation from the independent Compliance Review Committee under the International Standard for Code Compliance by Signatories to give four months, starting on 14 November, to FIG to correct outstanding non-conformities related to its testing program.
Since November, FIG has worked diligently to successfully implement all corrective actions resulting from a compliance audit conducted by WADA.
WADA will continue to monitor FIG’s anti-doping program as it does with all International Sports Federations and National Anti-Doping Organizations.
