Space is limited—register now to secure your spot
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to publish the program for its Social Science Research (SSR) Symposium, which will take place on 27 February 2024 at l’Université Côte d’Azur in Nice, France. The SSR Symposium is being held in connection with WADA’s Global Education Conference (GEC) on 28-29 February in Cannes, France. We encourage you to make the most of your February and register for both events by 18 February 2024.
In line with the GEC, the theme for the SSR Symposium is ‘Cultivating our collective creativity … through research.’ The Symposium objectives are centered around:
-
bridging the gap between research and practice/policy through knowledge exchange;
-
building a research community involving academics, practitioners, and policy-makers; and
-
exploring ways to work more effectively in partnership to support athletes and protect sport.
The interactive sessions will allow participants to discuss contemporary SSR issues such as: collaborating effectively, conducting international and interdisciplinary research, engaging athletes as partners, and setting future research priorities for clean sport.
The SSR Symposium will feature a networking lunch during which time there will be space for poster presentations, giving early-career researchers and PhD students an opportunity to share relevant findings with the community. Those interested are encouraged to contact ssr@wada-ama.org.
Register now to be part of these exciting conversations!
Further details concerning the SSR Symposium and the GEC are available on the GEC website.
