WADA announces elected members of 2026 National Anti-Doping Organization Expert Advisory Group
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to announce the ten members who have been elected to WADA’s National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) Expert Advisory Group (EAG) for 2026-2028.
WADA President Witold Bańka said: “On behalf of WADA, I would like to extend our congratulations to the ten elected members of WADA’s NADO Expert Advisory Group. The NADO EAG brings invaluable insight into anti-doping matters, and its regional structure provides both regional and global perspective. I am confident that the members will use their regional expertise and their commitment to clean sport to make impactful contributions, and that the members they elect to the Foundation Board will play a critical role in our governance. I look forward to getting to know the members and continuing to work collaboratively with the NADO EAG.”
The ten elected representatives are listed below in alphabetical order by last name (per region). Additional information about the elected representatives is available here. The members will officially take office on 1 January 2026.

Election
All NADOs were advised of the candidate list on 29 September 2025. Eligible NADOs were asked to register to vote and had until 21 October 2025 to do so. The election was held virtually via an online voting platform from 28 to 30 October 2025. Only those NADOs registered and deemed eligible per the criteria outlined in Article 3 of the NADO EAG Election Procedure were able to vote. A total of 116 out of 121 registered NADOs (95.8%) voted across all regions.
WADA’s Independent Ethics Board designated Mr. Phil Hutchinson as election scrutineer. Mr. Hutchinson validated the eligibility of all candidates and NADOs, and the results of the vote, the full details of which are available here.
NADO EAG
WADA’s NADO EAG is comprised of ten members elected by NADOs via regional elections. Each of the five Olympic/Paralympic regions (Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania) elects two NADO representatives who all serve three-year terms. The ten members are responsible for reviewing anti-doping matters that impact NADOs, providing relevant guidance and recommendations to WADA to enhance its collaboration with, and development of, NADOs globally. The NADO EAG also represents the views of NADOs and brings them forward to WADA’s Foundation Board by electing their Chair and Vice-Chair, who in turn sit on the Board.
