Take part in the #PlayTrueChallenge!
Further to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA’s) announcement of Play True Day 2026, WADA is inviting the global anti-doping community to take part in the #PlayTrueChallenge, an interactive fitness initiative running from 17 March to 16 April 2026.
How to Participate
1. Record yourself completing 30-seconds of any sport-related movement (e.g., push-ups, squats, wall ball or any fitness action).
2. Finish your video by walking up to the camera and saying:
“30 seconds for clean sport. Play True. It starts with me.”
3. Nominate three friends or colleagues to join the challenge by tagging them in your caption or calling them out in your video.
4. Share your video using the hashtags #PlayTrueChallenge and #PlayTrueDay, and tag @wada_ama.
Participants can post their videos anytime between 17 March and 16 April 2026.
A Growing Movement for Clean Sport
The return of the #PlayTrueChallenge reflects the growing global momentum behind the Play True Day campaign. The strong participation in last year’s inaugural challenge demonstrated how individual actions can inspire collective impact, helping to spread the message of clean sport across the global sporting community.
By taking part in the challenge, athletes, organizations and fans contribute to a global movement that celebrates integrity, fairness and personal responsibility in sport.
Call to Action for the Global Anti-Doping Community
We would kindly ask the global anti-doping community to share this message with athletes, coaches and others within their networks.
The #PlayTrueChallenge is a dynamic and engaging way for athletes, Anti-Doping Organizations, sports federations, major event organizers, governments, clean sport advocates and fans worldwide to show their support for clean sport by taking on the challenge, nominating their peers and sharing their commitment to doping-free sport.
About Play True Day
Since 2014, every April the global anti-doping community celebrates Play True Day, a digital campaign that unites stakeholders worldwide in raising awareness of the importance of clean sport.
