Reminder: Register for the XI International Conference on Novel Psychoactive Substances

Register by 20 October to avoid late fees

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) would like to remind interested stakeholders to register for the XI International Conference on Novel Psychoactive Substances (NPS). The hybrid event, which will take place from 3-4 November 2025 in Nice, France, and via live stream, is jointly organized by WADA, the International Society for the Study of Emerging Drugs, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the European Union Drug Agency, the University of Trento and the University of Hertfordshire as well as several other organizations.

Under the UNODC definition, NPS are substances of abuse, either in a pure form or a preparation, that are not controlled by international conventions, but which may pose a public health threat.

This multidisciplinary event brings together leading international experts in public health, medicine, chemistry, toxicology, clinical and social sciences, psychology, epidemiology, policy, law enforcement, forensic science, and drug monitoring. It offers a unique platform to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and shape innovative responses to the rapidly evolving landscape of NPS and emerging drug trends.

Stakeholders who are interested in attending the conference are invited to register on the conference website by 20 October 2025 to avoid late fees.

Should you have any questions regarding the conference, we invite you to contact the organizers directly.
