REMINDER: 14 February deadline for Early Bird Registration for WADA's 2024 Annual Symposium 

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) would like to remind stakeholders that the Early Bird Registration deadline for WADA’s 2024 Annual Symposium is 14 February 2024 (23:59 CET).  The Symposium will be held in a hybrid fashion (in-person/virtual) on 12-13 March at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland.   

Under the theme ‘One Mission – One Team’, this 18th edition of the Symposium will be an interactive and practical event that offers anti-doping stakeholders the opportunity to learn from one another. The Symposium is designed for anti-doping practitioners from International Federations, National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations and Major Event Organizers; as well as, Athletes, Governments, WADA-accredited laboratories, Athlete Passport Management Units, service providers, researchers and the media – all that are integral to clean sport.  

The Symposium will open with keynote speeches by the WADA President, Mr. Witold Bańka; the Director General, Mr. Olivier Niggli; and, European Commission Vice-President, Mr. Margaritis Schinas; and, be followed over the course of the two days by many interesting sessions (see final program) which highlight how, together, we are delivering on our global collaborative mission for doping-free sport. 

This year’s Symposium will also celebrate WADA’s 25th anniversary. In this regard, at the conclusion of Day One, WADA will host a 25th Anniversary Gala that will gather Symposium attendees and other invited guests to celebrate the accomplishments of WADA, the global anti-doping community and some of its key contributors.

Should you wish to register for the Symposium, we invite you to do so on the Symposium website by 14 February 2024 (23:59 CET) to benefit from the early bird rate. The website contains all relevant information regarding the event, including the final program, how to register and how to book your hotel accommodation. We encourage you to book your hotel accommodation promptly as accommodation in Lausanne is limited.
