On 31 January 2018, the Paris Court of Appeal Chamber of the Press confirmed the decision of the Paris District Court (17th Chamber - Civil Chamber of the Press) which found Richard W. Pound and the World Anti-Doping Agency liable for undermining the presumption of innocence of Habib CISSE, on the basis of the report published by the Independent Commission on January 14, 2016.
