There is little over six weeks to go until the fourth World Conference on Doping in Sport, which will be held in Johannesburg from November 12 – 15, 2013.
With the approval of the 2015 World Anti-Doping Code set to take place, the World Conference is the must-attend event on the anti-doping in sport calendar.
WADA is also delighted to announce that the new IOC President Thomas Bach will participate in the World Conference. Bach joins other leading figures from the world of sport and government who will descend on Johannesburg to have their voice heard and contribute to the future of one of the greatest issues facing sport today.
WADA encourages all stakeholders to play their part in shaping the future of anti-doping in sport – seats are still available, and the final deadline to secure your berth in Johannesburg is October 25.
Once confirmed as a delegate, those that wish to contribute to the work of the Conference in the form of an intervention will able to do so by submitting a request to intervene.
The World Conference – organized with the generous support of Sport and Recreation South Africa and the City of Johannesburg – is set to be one of the key milestones in the fight against doping in sport.
