WADA President John Fahey statement on the positive "A" Samples in athletics

The rules are such that WADA cannot comment on pending cases. This is in order to protect the integrity of the process and the rights of athletes.

Subject and pursuant to the Code, WADA must allow due and fair process to run its course as we await the conclusion of the full results management process.

If, following the completion of the results management process, WADA has any concerns about the process or the result of the cases, it will have the power to use its right of appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
