International Conference on: The Pharmaceutical Industry and the Fight Against Doping: New Partnerships for Clean Sport in Society

The Ministry of Sports, Youth Non-Formal Education and Voluntary Organizations of France will be co-hosting a ground-breaking conference on the role of the pharmaceutical industry in the fight against doping in sport, with the Council of Europe, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The morning session of the Conference will be open to the media, after which there will be a press conference and an opportunity to interview WADA President John Fahey.
Also in attendance will be the highest-ranking officials from the Ministry of Sports of France, UNESCO, the Council of Europe and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), as well as senior representatives from the pharmaceutical and bio technology industries.
A confirmed agenda will be released to the media at a later date.
