CAS dismisses Malaysia laboratory appeal

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed the appeal filed by the Doping Control Centre University Sains Malaysia against the World Anti-Doping Agency’s decision to revoke its accreditation.

WADA’s Executive Committee revoked the Malaysia laboratory’s accreditation on June 17, 2010 because it failed to meet the standards set out in the International Standards for Laboratories (ISL).

Pursuant to the ISL, WADA is responsible for accrediting and re-accrediting anti-doping laboratories.
