WADA in Force at 2008 Paralympic Games

WADA is present through a number of programs at the 2008 Paralympic Games, which are taking place September 6-17 in Beijing.

WADA’s Independent Observers are monitoring doping control and results management, while an Athlete Outreach team is interacting with athletes and informing them about anti-doping in the Athletes Village. In addition, as was the case during the 2006 Winter Paralympic Games in Turin, the International Paralympic Committee is using ADAMS (Anti-Doping Administration & Management System), the web-based database management system developed by WADA, to manage doping control activities during the Beijing Games.
