Montreal, January 30, 2006 – The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will hold a press conference February 9 at the Main Press Center of the Turin Olympic Games. The purpose of this press conference is to present WADA’s programs and activities at the 2006 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and to answer questions from the media.
WADA’s President Richard W. Pound and Director General David Howman will be present and available to answer questions. Speakers will also include Dr Andrew Pipe, who will head the Independent Observer team at the Olympic Games, and WADA Athlete Committee member Rania Elwani.
