WADA selects CGI to host and support ADAMS

Montreal, February 21, 2005 – The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has selected CGI Group Inc. (CGI) (TSX: GIB.SV.A; NYSE: GIB) for a four-year information technology contract. As part of the contract CGI will host the highly confidential infrastructure on all international and national athlete profiles worldwide on WADA’s Anti-Doping Administration & Management System (ADAMS) as well as provide help desk services to the Anti-Doping Organizations that will be feeding the database with information on their country athletes.

The ADAMS system is at the heart of WADA’s mission- that of accelerating compliance of countries and sporting organizations to the World Anti-Doping Code. Over a period of time, over one million individuals and up to 400 organizations will have access to this system.
