ADAMS Version 3.1

In preparation for the Olympic Games in London this year, ADAMS has been enhanced with many features to more effectively support Major Games, like the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
We are pleased to announce the release of ADAMS version 3.1, currently in effect for all users.
The enhancements can be summarised as follows:

Doping Control Form (DCF)

  • Partial samples can be reported by Laboratories, as well as dilute samples (a sample with a specific gravity lower than 1.005)
  • For blood passport samples additional questions are presented as per the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) supplemental form

Mission order (MO)

  • The Sample Collection Authority (SCA) can access the whereabouts details of all athletes in the MO for the period specified in the MO
  • Through a ‘Quick DCF’ multiple DCFs can be created at one time for all athletes in the MO
  • More hyperlinks have been  added to quickly access the athlete profile, the test, the DCF and the lab result

Major Games module (MGO)

  • SCA and third-party service providers obtain increased access
  • In accordance with the results management process an International Sport Federation (IF) is notified of an ABP laboratory result, and is given access to the DCF. The access is retained even after the Major Game
  • Enhancements in the Quick Search and the Reporting functions

ABP

  • The CSV import file will accept more fields

Mandatory fields in DCF/laboratory results

  • In compliance with the 2012 International Standard for Laboratories and the International Standard for Testing, new features will be introduced in the laboratory results for assigning the proper roles within the anti-doping testing procedure (Testing, Sample Collection and Result Management Authority – TA, SCA, RMA).

Full user documentation on these changes will be made available upon release of version 3.1.
